This is a natural occurrence of a wax like soy. It will not affect your candle and once you relight your candle and the wax warms they will disperse.
The candle vessel can become extremely hot and you must ensure the candle is in a safe area away from children, furnishings and in a draught free area.
All our candles are individually labelled with safety guidelines on the underside. Please ensure you read this before lighting your candle.
Safe use of our candles is of paramount importance and failure to follow the safety label can result in fire or injury.
Always trim your wick before you light it. The wick needs to be around 5mm long.
Keep a look out for signs you may need to trim you wick. This includes your flame being too high or your wick curling to far over that it leaves a black residue on top of the wax.
Don't worry if any black residue appears on the glass or wax, it can be easily wiped off with a cloth once it has completely cooled down. This will not impact the quality or performance of the candle.
